Haddon Heights, New
Jersey – Beginning this month, every member of the Bed &
Breakfast Association of Kentucky (BBAK) became a Silver level member in the
Professional Association of Innkeepers International (PAII), and BBAK became a
"Partner Association" through a new two-year agreement between the
two associations.
In seeking
to add value and support to each other, leadership at both independent
organizations came together in support of each other's mission and goals.
"We are
thrilled to have Kentucky join on as a Partner Association with PAII,"
said Jay Karen, President & CEO of PAII. "This industry is
small, and in order to more effectively advance our businesses, we should seek
out as much collaboration as we can. Kudos to the BBAK board for
exemplifying a fantastic cooperative spirit," said Jay Karen, President
and CEO of PAII.
"This
synergistic relationship will significantly benefit members with better
satisfying educational needs, professionalism, communications, associate
discount programs, and marketing and public relations exposure - especially related
to the Better Way To Stay promotional campaign,” said Todd Allen, President of
BBAK and innkeeper at 1851 Historic Maple Hill Manor B&B.
Silver
membership benefits include publications, discounts, access to an online
library, industry forums, and much more. These benefits complement the benefits
that BBAK members already receive from their state B&B association. As the
organizations come together, Kentucky innkeepers will have more opportunities
for education, promotions, marketing efforts and networking prospects.
